Trials for U11/13 development squad announced

  Korfball! What's it all about?

 

The National U16 coaching team will be holding trails for an U11 and U13 Development squad at Royal Russell on the 17th May from 12pm to 5pm to read a press release from Peter Teague the U16 coach click here. North Downs will be sending members of their junior squad, news to follow.....

League Tables 2006/2007

Get your dancing shoes on as The London and District Korfball Association junior awards night and party will take place on Saturday 17th May in Morden click here for more details.  This Years AGM is being held at the Club House at Old Midwithgiftians on Wednesday the 14th May 7.45 for an 8pm start, click here for more information. All members are expected to attend, this is your club so come and have your say!

Juniors finish an amazing season

 

Indoor league now finished

First Team hold on to National League place

The "Red Arrows" season finished on a high, beating Croydon and Nomads in the final games, those results mean our juniors have finished runners up in the London U11 league behind London rivals Scorpions click here for a summary click here to see the fixtures and league tables

 

The indoor season has now finished so senior training has now stopped, the juniors continue to train at Trinity until further notice. An announcement will be made soon about the timing and location of outdoor training.   The North Downs first team beat London rivals Supernova in a  crucial game to hold on to their National League place for next season, more to follow..

It's a Green Thing

North Downs are running an after school club at Marian Vian Primary School from May 2nd for 10 weeks, we  have 19 children taking part, updates to follow.

More schools to introduce korfball

Juniors

North Downs school link programme continues as the club co-host an U9 Korfball festival between four local primary schools, congratulations to St Mary's who were worthy winners.   Following a successful taster session for teachers, there has been more interest from schools who want to introduce korfball into the curriculum.  Go to the juniors page for more details.   Bill has been busy again running a series of very successful Korfball training sessions at two local primary schools.  Click here to see some of the feedback from those who took part.
