0900 :-  Arrive for coffee and bacon rolls.

1000 :-  Tee off for 18 holes Stableford.

1600 :- 2- course lunch (menu to be agreed)

1800 :- Prize giving ceremony followed by social drinking.

Rules :-

Dress code- if you must but wax first.

Special prize for anyone finishing under Tony.

Extra special prize for anyone finishing on top of Rachel (no cheating Tommo )

Christmas Walk
 
This years Christmas walk is on Sunday 30th December and starts at Chiddingstone village in Kent near Hever.
For those of you with SatNav's, the post code is TN8 7AH.
 
The walk will be at an earlier time than usual of 9.15am for a 9.30am start. This is due to the fact that the pub at the end of the walk. The Castle Inn in Chiddingstone, has a relatively small saloon bar with limited tables and seating, and we are unable to reserve tables in the saloon, so I would like to get you all seated before the rush. It does boast a Restaurant, but here they only serve Sunday Luncheon on a Sunday which is priced at £19.95 for 2 courses and £27.50 for 3 courses. London Walk
 
This years London Walk is from the River Thames to New Covent Garden 
 
Date   Saturday 10th November 2007
Time   7pm
Meet   Embankment tube station
(Circle,District,Northern and Bakerloo lines)
Cost   £7.50 payable on night
 
This is a great pub walk, finishing at the Nell of Old Drury PH where they have reserved an area for us to rest our weary feet and enjoy a drink or two. No food is available.

Christmas Dinner

We have a provisional booking at Farleigh Court Golf Club on Saturday 15 December.

Format will be similar to last year ie dinner, dance & drink. Bucks Fizz on arrival, 3 course meal + coffee and mince pies including half bottle of wine per person with hats, crackers & novelties and dancing until late.

Arrive from 7:30, dinner at 8pm, disco until 1pm all for £34.95.

Companies Tournament

Bill and Claire between them managed to persuade people they work with to take part in the Companies Tournament on the 28th June on Clapham Common.  Despite never having played before, they finished a very respectable 10th. 
Having won a nail biting penalty shoot out, they narrowly missed winning their pool as they were beaten by HSBC.

Summer Tournaments

I bet I know exactly what you are thinking...The season is over and what are you going to do throughout the long, boring summer break until training starts again?  You could be outside in the sun soaking up some rays.  You could go to the gym to get fitter (or fit, in some of our cases.) You could even catch up with friends and have fun.

Why not do all three and put your name forward for a Summer Tournament or two.

What is a Summer Tournament?

Well, basically you play lots of shorter games on smaller pitches outdoors in the glorious sunshine.  Anyway, here are a few of the tournaments happening.  I have been to all of them in the past and they are all good tournaments.  So please have a look at the dates and let me know which one / two / three or more you fancy playing in and if we have enough people for a team I will enter one.

There may be other tournaments happening and if anyone sees, hear, fancies one of them then by all means let me know and I will try to rally up some troops for it. 

What to do now???  Don't bother shelling out for the expensive beach holiday.  Email / text / phone / grab and have a word with me and say which tournament you fancy.
